Human creativity knows no bounds. We find inspiration in the world surrounding us, fusing materials together to create striking works of art.
This project follows that approach, transforming discarded copper wire into sculptures, twisting the strands together and decorating them with natural stones. Some pieces rest on wooden bases, while others are mounted on crystals formed deep within the earth over thousands of years.
Together, these materials tell stories of culture, heritage and remembrance. Sculpted olive trees evoke cultural traditions, while other pieces feature Handala, the cartoon character that has become a widely recognized icon.
Rewell Society launches its projects on proven concepts; they are simple and easy to set up; they build on local knowledge and skills and require little funding to start. Your donations will provide underprivileged Jordanian families the opportunity to generate income and expand their skills.
