Northern Ghor, Al Rayan

Fish farming has been proven to yield good revenues in Jordan. The association will agree with farmers on using their irrigation ponds to raise fish for the benefit of poor families. According to our calculations, a single pond can accommodate approximately 5,000 baby fishes. Fed and monitored, each of these fishes would grow to a weight between 700 to 1000 grams. The trained participants for the project would then sell their fish in local markets.

Rewell Society launches its projects on proven concepts; they are simple and easy to set up; they build on local knowledge and skills and require little funding to start. Your donations will provide underprivileged Jordanian families the opportunity to generate income and expand their skills.
