Southern Jordan Valley
Grandmother Corn Farming Project (4 Greenhouses)
Southern Jordan Valley
As part of its socio-economic work with widows and orphans, Rewell Society is implementing a corn farming project in the Northern Jordan Valley on family-owned land. The project targets a household whose income has sharply declined over time.
The farm is expected to generate direct income for the family and around 500 workdays in a single production cycle, creating short-term jobs for people from the surrounding community.
Rewell Society launches its projects on proven concepts; they are simple and easy to set up; they build on local knowledge and skills and require little funding to start. Your donations will provide underprivileged Jordanian families the opportunity to generate income and expand their skills.
